Meet in Paris and transfer to ‘Grand Cru,’ moored in the village of Vandenesse-en-Auxois. A welcome reception awaits, with time to relax before a first gourmet dinner on board.
Day 2 - MONDAY
Following a leisurely morning cruise, your afternoon takes you through the vineyards of Côte d'Or to Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy. Explore the Hôtel-Dieu, a preserved medieval hospital dating from the 15th century.
Day 3 - TUESDAY
Explore family-owned Domaine Amiot-Sercelle, a vintner that organically farms its own grapes, where you partake in a wine tasting. Return to ‘Grand Cru’ for dinner on board.
Day 4 - WEDNESDAY
Cruise to Châteauneuf-en-Auxois, perched high on a hill overlooking the canal, to explore the cobblestoned lanes and view the enchanting old château. This evening’s dinner is ashore at the 12th-century Abbaye de la Bussière.
Day 5 - THURSDAY
After a leisurely morning of cruising, visit Dijon on market day to explore the panorama of colorful produce on display in "Les Halles." Stroll through the city, brimming with French life, perhaps stopping at the famed mustard shops or visiting the extravagant Duke's palace.
Day 6 - FRIDAY
Enjoy a guided, insider’s visit to Chateau d’Arcelot, the first neoclassical castle of Burgundy. After being personally welcomed by the castle's owner, Madame la Comtesse de Loisy, stroll the beautiful grounds, and then savor a taste of the house-made gourmet specialties. Then gather for a festive onboard Captain’s Dinner.
Day 7 - SATURDAY
After breakfast, disembark in Plombières-lès-Dijon and return to Paris, concluding your magical journey.
