Stroll the farm with the resident expert, taste a variety of oils, and then join a cooking experience, using their products to create delicious focaccia and pasta. Visit Alberobello to explore the region’s unique trulli houses. Built entirely of stone without mortar, only a handful of people remain who can still create these distinctive structures. Explore the town with a local expert before returning to your hotel.

Set out for a guided tour of nearby Ostuni — a city noted for its striking white-washed Old Town and architectural highlights, such as medieval gates and a cathedral that combines Gothic, Romanesque and Byzantine elements — on an experience that includes time for exploration on your own. Make an excursion to Taormina for a private visit to legendary Casa Cuseni, once the private residence of an English lord, now a UNESCO-registered museum. You have time free for lunch on your own and exploration in Taormina before returning to Syracuse for a farewell dinner.
