ITINERARY

Day 1 - SUNDAY
Meet in Paris and transfer to your barge’s mooring in Châlons-en-Champagne for a welcome reception aboard.

Day 2 - MONDAY
Cruise the Canal Latéral à la Marne to visit the magnificent 800-year-old Reims Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece where kings of France were crowned. Enjoy free time to wander Reims’ grand squares and elegant shopping arcades.

Day 3 - TUESDAY
Visit Moët & Chandon, one of the best-known Champagne houses in the world, where you explore the vast underground cellars and savor a tasting of renowned vintages.

Day 4 - WEDNESDAY
Savor a private Champagne tasting at the boutique Grand Cru winery of Frerejean Frères with a stop en route at a hillside vineyard to learn the nuances of Champagne viniculture. Afterward, enjoy a gourmet private lunch in the salon of the family Domaine.

Day 5 - THURSDAY
Cruise to pretty riverside town of Dormans, disembarking to visit the American war cemetery at Belleau Wood, a site that witnessed one of the U.S. Army’s bloodiest World War I battles.

Day 6 - FRIDAY
Visit La Maison Ayala, for a visit of the historic cellars before a private tasting. Later, cruise to Château-Thierry, a historic town surrounded by acres of scenic vineyards.

Day 7 - SATURDAY
Disembark in Château-Thierry and return to Paris.
