ITINERARY

Day 1 - SUNDAY
Meet in Paris and transfer to gracious 'La Nouvelle Etoile,' moored in the heart of the City of Light. After a Champagne welcome reception, relax as you cruise past the Eiffel Tower and other iconic Parisian sites. This evening, enjoy a gourmet dinner on board.

Day 2 - MONDAY
This morning, cruise out of Paris onto the Marne River. After lunch onboard, visit the magnificent Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte. Rejoin the barge in Meaux in time for a stroll and a visit to the cathedral.

Day 3 - TUESDAY
Visit an expert cheesemaker at a local fromagerie for a Brie and wine tasting. This afternoon, cruise up the Marne to La Ferté-sous-Jouarre.

Day 4 - WEDNESDAY
Enjoy a Champagne tasting at a small family vineyard. Cruise onward, disembarking to visit the World War I battlegrounds of Château-Thierry and Belleau Wood.

Day 5 - THURSDAY
Cruise to the delightful town of Damery, passing hills dotted with small wine villages along the way. Drive to Reims, where you visit the city’s 13th-century cathedral and the Musée de la Reddition, a museum commemorating World War II at the site of Germany’s surrender.

Day 6 - FRIDAY
Visit Hautvillers, where Dom Pérignon invented the process of making Champagne. Cruise to the charming village of Cumières, disembarking for a private tasting at a renowned Champagne cellar in nearby Épernay.

Day 7 - SATURDAY
After breakfast, disembark 'La Nouvelle Etoile' in Cumières and return to Paris.
