Board a scheduled flight to Vilanculos. After clearing customs and immigration, travel by helicopter to Azura on Benguerra Island — unspoiled with deserted white-sand beaches, turquoise seas and swaying palms. Your hand-built villa is secluded and nestled amid indigenous gardens, yet just footsteps from the beach. The remainder of your day is at leisure in your own sanctuary.

Spend the next two days enjoying the activities on the island. Take a tour of the island to experience local culture, climb the dunes, visit the lakes and explore the local flora and fauna. The waters are excellent for snorkeling, diving and fishing. Watch the sunset as you sail on a dhow or cruise to deserted beaches. You may also join one of the stargazing events and lie back and listen to the ancient African stories that chart the cosmos.

Transfer by helicopter to Vilanculos and board a scheduled flight to Johannesburg to continue on your journey.
