You are met and transferred to your hotel. Unwind from your international flight at your hotel's world-class spa, relax over a cup of afternoon tea in the lounge or stroll the lush and peaceful hotel grounds. Mount Nelson Hotel

Day 1: United States or Canada/ Cape Town, South Africa
Begin exploring Cape Town by ascending Table Mountain via cable car (weather permitting). Journey to the historic side of the city beginning with the Bo Kaap quarter, a charming multicultural area, rich in history and known for its romantic cobblestone streets. Enjoy traditional Cape Malay tea in the home of Farieda Zainden, a colorful character with many stories to share of her years growing up in this town. Later you are invited to inspect The Officers' Mess of the Cape Town Rifles--a rare opportunity exclusive to A&K clients. The Rifles is Cape Town's oldest regiment, dating back to 1855. Day 2: Cape Town
An excursion to Robben Island brings fascinating insight into the story of modern South Africa and its deliverance from the apartheid years. Your private tour, guided by a former inmate, reveals where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated as a political prisoner for 18 years. Day 3: Cape Town
Spend your day on an exclusive gourmet sojourn in South Africa's Winelands. Visit a private estate for a wine, olive and olive oil tasting. After lunch, visit Waterford Wine Estate and sample their award winning wines complimented by a chocolate tasting. Day 4: Cape Town
Your flight this morning takes you to Mala Mala Game Reserve, privately owned big game territory bordering Kruger National Park. After a briefing, set off for your first afternoon drive into the bush, accompanied by professional game rangers. Mala Mala Main Camp B L D

Day 5: Cape Town
With a schedule determined by the habits of the wildlife you came to see, early morning and afternoon game drives reward you with exceptional game viewing. Here you may spot lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, rhino, hippo and giraffe. You may also participate in a walking safari, an excellent way to experience the bush at ground level. Day 6: Cape Town/Johannesburg/Mala Mala Game Reserve

Days 7-8: Mala Mala Game Reserve
Explore Zambia from Sussi & Chuma, your lodge located in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Named after explorer David Livingstone's faithful companions, its 12 luxury tree houses lining the bank of the Zambezi river offer private views from a canopy of majestic ebony trees. Day 9: Mala Mala Game Reserve/Johannesburg
With a powerful water flow reaching up to 120 million gallons per minute, the white spray and thunderous sounds have earned Victoria Falls the name "The Smoke that Thunders." This morning's activities include a guided tour of the falls and rain forest. Later this afternoon, enjoy one of the Design Your Day options. Either stop at the Maramba Market as well as the David Livingstone Museum, the most comprehensive collection of memorabilia relating to Dr. Livingstone, or view Victoria Falls during a flight aboard a micro-light aircraft or helicopter. Day 10: Johannesburg/Livingstone, Zambia
