Days 1-2: USA or Canada/Delhi, India

Day 6: Udaipur
Fly to Jaipur this morning; then begin an afternoon of exploration. Admire the amazing astronomical devices at the outdoor Jantar Mantar Observatory and visit Jaipur's most famous building, the pink sandstone Hawa Mahal or "Palace of the Winds." Day 7: Udaipur
Travel to Ranthambore, Rajasthan's first Project Tiger reserve. In this 150 square-mile sanctuary of thick forests, you are likely to see spotted deer, nilgai (blue bull) antelope and chinkara (Indian gazelle). Days 8-9: Udaipur/Jaipur
