religious, artistic and intellectual center of the country. Explore
some of the 9,000 narrow lanes and alleys that make up the
labyrinth of the city's old quarter.
Day 3
Enjoy a full day of sightseeing of Meknes, more modern
and less crowded than Fez, and Volubilis, site of an exceptionally
well-preserved Roman town.
Day 4
Board your private charter flight to Errachidia. You are met
by your driver and a four-wheel drive vehicle to continue toward
the Oasis cities of Erfoud and Rissani. Discover a few ksars (forts)
and kasbahs (castles) before reaching the desert. Leave your vehicle and ride a camel to your exclusive and private desert camp, where you relax
under the desert stars and enjoy a traditional meal around your
campfire.
Day 5
Travel to Skoura through lush scenery, stopping at date
palmeries along the way. Arrive at the luxurious 19th-century
kasbah which will be your home for the next two nights.
Day 6
Today, embark on a full day excursion to the superb Draa
Valley with its wonderful kasbahs and villages in nearby Ouarzazate.
Day 7
Continue your drive to Marrakech, with an en route stop
at Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a spectacular fortified village.
Day 8
Set out to discover the treasures of Marrakech. Many of the
city's architectural attractions are inside the Medina, the old walled
section of the town. Visit Dar Si Said - home to the Museum
of Moroccan Arts and Crafts. Inside are stunning collections of
traditional woven carpets and Berber silver jewelry.
Day 9
Enjoy a full-day excursion with your guide through
spectacular scenery to the High Atlas Mountains and the
Ourika Valley. Tiny Berber villages cling to the steep sides of
this romantic valley.
