Day 1: San José
Arrive in San José After you pass through customs, meet an Adventures by Disney representative who will assist with your luggage. Relax as a driver whisks your family away to the nearby resort. Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Set on a 30-acre coffee plantation, this beautiful colonial hacienda hotel is brimming with luxury. Unwind in the grand courtyard or enjoy the hotel's amenities, including a swimming pool, lounge and fitness center. If you wish to explore the area, your Adventure Guides can make suggestions. Dinner On Your Own Tonight, you and your family can enjoy the hotel's excellent restaurant or ask your Adventure Guides to recommend nearby local dining. Get ready tomorrow you will begin your expedition into beautiful and breathtaking Costa Rica!
Day 2: Tortuguero National Park
Breakfast Buffet Meet your fellow Adventurers over a delicious breakfast. Welcome and Orientation Your Adventure Guides greet you and discuss your vacation's exciting itinerary. Flight to Tortuguero Board a private charter for an exclusive flight to Tortuguero ("Land of the Turtles"). Tortuguero National Park Tour by boat and see some of the 11 different habitats that compose this dazzling, 46,815-acre natural park, which includes 20 miles (32.2 kilometers) of coastline where endangered green sea turtles nest each year, along with other sea turtles. Over 400 species of mammals, bird, amphibians and reptiles inhabit this wildlife sanctuary. A local expert privately guides you through the wetlands, rainforests, swamps, lagoons and beaches that are woven together to create a vibrant tropical tapestry. Visit to Sea Turtle Conservancy Once you land in Tortuguero, take a short boat ride to the Sea Turtle Conservancy Center. Here you will learn about the renowned naturalist, Archie Carr, and his work with the endangered green turtles. Walk to Tortuguero Village If you want to go by foot, take a delightful 10-minute walk to this special village that is flanked by a Caribbean beach and rivers that lead to a tropical jungle. Welcome Dinner After your day of discovery, celebrate your arrival with a festive hotel welcome feast arranged especially for Adventures by Disney Guests. Nighttime Turtle Viewing Guests can opt to take a nighttime walk on the beach with a local expert to search for nesting sea turtles, including green sea turtles as well as giant leatherback, hawksbill and loggerhead turtles * *Nighttime turtle-viewing walk is available during the green sea turtles nesting season (July through September). Animal sightings are not guaranteed.
Day 3: Arenal Volcano National Park
Journey to Arenal After breakfast at the Laguna Lodge, board the river boat to begin your journey to Cao Blanco Dock, where you will continue by luxury motor coach* onto Sarapiqui. As the coach follows the road, your imagination follows stories about the surrounding land told by your Adventure Guides. Lunch at Rancho Roberto's Restaurant Stop in route to Sarapiqui for a very special lunch with your fellow Adventurers at this landmark restaurant featuring farm-to-table cuisine! Pineapple Plantation Learn to live off the land at a real working plantation! Discover Costa Rica's spirit of environmental respect and meet the people who live and work the earth every day. After the plantation, continue onto Arenal! Arrive at Arenal Prepare yourself for the powerful sight of the Arenal volcano. It's a dramatic backdrop to the tranquil Hotel Arenal Manoa in La Fortuna, where your Adventure Guides will check you in upon arrival. Dinner at the Hotel Once you are settled, get ready for a private dinner at the hotel's restaurant or poolside (weather permitting) with your fellow Adventurers. As you dine, soak up the panoramic view of the beautiful Arenal volcano as it rises from the horizon, surrounded by verdant pastures and hillsides. *The roads from Cao Blanco Dock are at times very uneven.
Day 4: Arenal Volcano National Park
Sky Trek to Zip Lining Enjoy a scenic bus ride to the Sky Tram, a gondola that carefully carries you through the rainforest canopy up the mountain to heights of over 4,000 feet (1,250 meters). Be awed by the extraordinary viewsand take note of changes in the vegetation as your gondola ascends. Zip Line Adventure* Enjoy the adrenaline thrill of a lifetime! Strap on a harness that is clicked onto suspended wires and zip line above the treetops of the rainforest. For Adventurers who either don't meet Zip Line Adventure requirements or don't want to participate, alternative activities will be available, such as a nature walk with hanging bridges. Lunch On Your Own After your thrilling high-speed ride, satisfy your hunger with a hearty meal of Costa Rican cuisine in the town of La Fortuna. Exclusive Maleku Arts Experience Learn traditional crafts from local artisans. You and your family can connect with the culture while expressing your creativityand even design a keepsake to take home with you! Tabacón Grand Spa Thermal Resort Enjoy a moment of pure relaxation. Immerse yourself in the soothing mineral water pools of a natural hot springs, which is heated by the Arenal volcano. Day 5: Guanacaste

Tenorio River White Water Rafting* / Float Trip On your way to Guanacaste, make an adventurous stop at the Tenorio River. Shoot down the roaring rapids and bob over the gushing waters. During smoother sections of the river, take in the lush scenery as you glide by a forest full of exotic birds and animals. Enjoy a rafting adventure in Class II - Class III rapidsor opt instead for a serene float trip on the gentler waters of Corobici River. Private Lunch Overlooking the River Rincon Corobici Top off your whitewater adventure with a tasty lunch along this picture-perfect river. Welcome Reception at El Mangroove Resort in Guanacaste Take in the ocean views at Papagayo Bay as your Adventure Guides check you into this spectacular resort located on a natural mangrove and surrounded by luscious tropical scenery. Then join fellow Adventurers for a drink at a Welcome Reception. Adult Dinner in the Hotel Dine at the hotel restaurant featuring creative contemporary cuisine made from fresh local ingredients. Junior Adventurers Dinner and Movie Night While the adults dine, Junior Adventurers can join Adventure Guides for their own meal of kid-friendly fare. Day 6: Guanacaste
Private Catamaran Excursion After breakfast at the resort, head down to the beach to begin your Catamaran adventure. Discover secluded beaches along the Pacific Ocean where you can snorkel, swim, sail and sunbathe. Nibble on snacks prepared by the crew Lunch at the Hotel Enjoy a light lunch at your leisure on your own. On Your Own Beach Time at the Hotel Hit the sand with your fellow Adventurers and enjoy an afternoon of water sports. Or find your spot in the sun and just kick back while catching some Costa Rican rays. Private Mojito-Making & Guaro Sour-Making Learn how to make the delicious rum cocktail as well as a lime sour featuring the traditional liqueur of Costa Rica while Junior Adventurers enjoy a non-alcoholic drink. Private Farewell Dinner and Entertainment at the Hotel Before a festive dinner, enjoy traditional music and a folk dance performance as you celebrate the adventures of your trip. Day 7: Liberia
Breakfast at El Mangroove Hotel Enjoy an early breakfast in paradise and say goodbye to your fellow Adventurers. Transfers to Liberia International Airport (LIR) Board pre-arranged transportation to the airport and say hasta luego until you return to the tropics!
