“That’s Barry!” No we are not talking about a person named Barry. It’s what people say in Edinburgh when they think something is fantastic. When you take this 10-day vacation to London, York & Edinburgh with Stonehenge & Bath, we know you’ll be saying “that’s barry” everywhere you go! And the reason everything is “barry” (fantastic) is because when you travel with Monograms, all the details are arranged for you. We’ve not only arranged your hotel reservations, we include daily buffet breakfasts, sightseeing and transportation between cities. Plus, you get the services of our one-of-a-kind feature, the Monograms Local Host®, a friend in each city who is there for you to share local insights, make recommendations and help make your vacation all you want it to be.

Your vacation begins the moment you arrive in London, where we can seamlessly pick you up at the airport and take you to your selected hotel. Here, you will be greeted with a warm welcome by your Local Host, who will give you a set of materials to help you become familiar with the city. The next day, after an included breakfast, we've arranged exclusive sightseeing with a local expert that will take you to the must-see attractions. You will visit St. Paul's Cathedral, with its world-famous dome and fascinating history, and you will see the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. You will also have a full day in London to explore on your own (with the support of your Local Host, of course). You may want to visit Windsor Castle, the Tower of London, the British Museum, or one of the world-famous department stores, such as Harrods.

From London, we will take you to Stonehenge, the most famous prehistoric monument in the world. You'll stand in awe as you try to figure out the mystery behind this monument. We will also take you to Bath, where you will visit the Roman baths, built nearly two thousand years ago.

Then you are off to York. To make travel as convenient as possible, we will pick you up at your London hotel and escort you to the train station. Once you arrive in York, your Local Host will pick you up at the train station, take you to your hotel, and present you with materials on the city so you can start exploring immediately. The next day, we've arranged for you to have a hop-on/hop-off sightseeing tour, where you will see York Minster, the world-famous cathedral dating from the 7th century. Wait until you see its medieval stained glass!

The following day, we will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the train station, where you will catch the Express train (first-class) to Edinburgh, where your Local Host will greet you at the train station and escort you to your hotel. We've arranged a sightseeing tour with a local expert who will share insider stories with you as you see the "New Town," dating to the 18th century, and the "Old Town," dominated by Edinburgh Castle. We will take you to Edinburgh Castle, where you will see the "Honours of Scotland," the oldest set of crown jewels in the British Isles. You will also have a full day to explore on your own. Perhaps take a ghost tour of Edinburgh's Old Town or explore Holyrood Palace, Her Majesty the Queen’s official residence in Scotland and once the home of Mary, Queen of Scots.

As you can see, Monograms has taken care of the details for you. And did we mention we've included first-class train tickets on the Express train between London, York, & Edinburgh? Between the transportation and transfers we've included, the sightseeing and guides we've arranged, the hotels we've booked, and the breakfast we've included, all you have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride! Imagine the stress and hassles saved by allowing us to handle the details—not to mention the comfort of knowing you'll have a Local Host in each city—and you've got yourself a vacation of a lifetime! Now that is “barry!”
