Cruise Port Guide

Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia

A lively marina town on Saint Lucia's northwest coast, where colonial history meets turquoise beaches and easy island charm

All Cruise Ports

About the Port

Rodney Bay sits along Saint Lucia's northwest coast, its wide sandy beaches and calm turquoise waters framed by a busy marina lined with restaurants and shops. The area's British and French colonial past is still visible in its architecture and in nearby historic sites, adding depth to what is largely known as a beach and leisure destination. By day, the bay draws visitors for swimming, sailing, and simply relaxing along the shore, while by evening the marina district becomes the island's liveliest stretch for dining and casual nightlife.

Most of Rodney Bay's beaches, shops, and waterfront restaurants lie within a short drive of the pier, making it easy to spend a half-day exploring on foot once ashore. The village of Gros Islet, just north of the marina, offers a glimpse of everyday island life beyond the resort strip. Together, the beach, marina, and low-key streets give visitors a well-rounded introduction to Saint Lucia's easygoing northern coast.

Rodney Bay's signature stretch of soft sand and calm, swimmable water lies steps from the marina, backed by beach bars perfect for a quick swim or lounge between stops.
