This 8-day excursion begins in the bustling city of Portland, full of beauty, nature, and welcoming neighborhoods. During your 2-night stay, you'll have a guided tour of Portland to visit the city's top landmarks. You then have plenty of free time to explore more of this rugged area on your own.

Then it's off to Seattle via a beautiful trip on Amtrak’s Cascades. Your two-day stay in this waterfront city includes a Hop-On Hop-Off tour where you can visit 15 great sites, including the iconic Space Needle. Then enjoy an excursion to the foothills of the Cascade Mountains for a trip to the stunning Snoqualmie Falls. The day's journey includes stops at two charming wineries.

Another scenic journey aboard the Cascades takes you into Canada. You'll have two days to explore Vancouver, with a mix of free time and a trolley tour through the city. You can even relax on a ferryboat as you cruise False Creek for a unique view of Vancouver.

Next is a day trip to Victoria, where you can view the scenic waterways on a ferry ride through the Gulf Islands. A guided tour of downtown, free time to explore on your own, and a trip to the lovely Butchart Gardens fills up this full-day excursion. ITINERARY

Day 1 - Arrive Portland
Arrive in Portland and spend the day touring this eco-friendly city on your own. Overnight Portland.

Day 2 - Portland City Tour
Today's highlight is a 2.5-hour guided tour. Visit Pittock Mansion, home to Portland pioneers Henry and Georgiana Pittock, which sits on 46 acres of beautiful land and has one of the best views of the city from its lofty grounds. You'll then head to Washington Park for a visit to the International Rose Test Gardens, full of 7,000 types of roses. This site provides a great view of Mount Hood. Next tour Portland's most historic neighborhoods, including Pioneer Square. The rest of the day is yours to explore more of Portland on your own. Overnight Portland.

Day 3 – Seattle Sightseeing
This morning, board Amtrak’s Cascades in Portland for your trip to Seattle, which provides excellent views of the rugged Northwest scenery. This afternoon you'll experience the best of Seattle on a comprehensive Hop-on Hop-off tour. This fascinating double-decker bus tour stops at iconic sites like the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, and Chinatown. Explore central Seattle's neighborhoods, restaurants and landmarks at your own pace. Overnight Seattle.

Day 4 - Snoqualmie Falls & Seattle Winery Tour
Enjoy a 6-hour tour that takes you deep into the Cascade foothills. You'll enjoy wine tastings at two boutique wineries, including Chateau Ste. Michelle, Washington’s oldest winery. Enjoy the views of rolling hills as you head to Snoqualmie Falls for a look at its rushing waters. Overnight Seattle.

Day 5 – Train to Vancouver
This morning watch the scenery roll by the mountainous backdrop as you travel aboard the Cascades to Vancouver. Once in Vancouver, you have the rest of the day to explore Canada's third-largest city, which offers a variety of parks, museums, and fantastic dining for you to enjoy. Overnight Vancouver.

Day 6 – Vancouver Sightseeing
Spend the day exploring this coastal city through a Hop-On Hop-Off tour, the perfect way to see the city's most important sights. Must-see attractions include Stanley Park, the Vancouver Aquarium, English Bay Beach, and Granville Island. Overnight Vancouver.

Day 7 – Victoria & Butchart Gardens Tour
