ITINERARYDay 1
BUDAPEST – EMBARKATION. Embark your ship and begin your City Escapes journey in comfort and style.
Day 2
BUDAPEST, HUNGARY. Experience Budapest from above with either a visit to the Castle District or an invigorating hike up Gellert Hill. Both options offer meaningful context and easy ways to enjoy iconic city views.
Day 3
BRATISLAVA, SLOVAKIA. Discover Bratislava’s character by joining a guided walk through its historic center, followed by a sampling of regional flavors with a beer tasting, or a hike up to Bratislava Castle for panoramic views.
Day 4
VIENNA, AUSTRIA. Experience Vienna at your pace. In the morning, choose between the “Imperial Vienna” guided tour or an exciting bike ride through the city. Later, learn to waltz with a dance class, enjoy a visit to a local art museum, or venture to Burg Liechtenstein for a boat tour of the largest underground lake in Europe. In the evening, you’ll be treated to dinner and a concert on shore.
Day 5
VIENNA – SCENIC SAILING – WACHAU. Cruise through the UNESCO designated Wachau Valley, marveling at the natural landscapes of Austria and enjoying your ship’s amenities.
Day 6
LINZ – SALZBURG, AUSTRIA. In Linz, you can wander the galleries of the museum that matches your interests with a museum pass. Alternatively, you may choose to venture to Salzburg for full-day excursion, with the additional choice to visit either the Hohensalzburg Fortress or Red Bull Hangar-7. You also have the option to venture to the Czech Republic for a full-day tour of Český Krumlov, complete with local beer tasting.
Day 7
PASSAU, GERMANY. Passau’s three rivers set the pace for your day as you wander its colorful lanes, choosing between a guided look at its storied riverfront with a local tasting or a peek inside a beloved pretzel bakery steeped in tradition.
