Drawing inspirations from contemporary Balinese village concept, Andaz Bali invites guests to immerse in the fascinating yet balanced mix of traditional and new. Each room, suite, and villa blends the artistry of Balinese craftsmanship with contemporary elements and surrounded by natural Balinese garden, allowing guests to be fully immersed in the destination through distinctive expressions of local culture. Andaz Bali was built with carefully thought care to the natural surroundings, shown in one of the villas, where guests can see the construction was built around ancient Banyan trees, so that the trees can still be preserved. Guests can find Village Square at the heart of the resort, making Andaz Bali the only resort on the island offering this type of experience. Drawing inspirations from Indonesian shophouses where a family would host customers downstairs for business and live upstairs, Village Square creates a unique destination by positioning Andaz Bali’s dining outlets beneath selected guestrooms. This concept offers guests the experience of enjoying the privacy and comfort of their rooms while at the same time being in the thick of the resort’s happenings. At Village Square, guests can find four uniquely conceptual restaurants. First, there’s Blue Oven, serving Mediterranean cuisine. Just like the name suggests, Blue Oven showcases sea-inspired bright shades of blue, in addition to antique chairs and mixed-matched handmade-style tiles. Second, Wok Wok is the resort’s Asian restaurant, serving favorite dishes from the region, including Indonesian fare. The design matches the culinary concept, with architectural elements of local wood, glazed terrazzo tiles, as well as traditional Balinese wooden cabinets installed as kitchen counter. Third is Fire Fox, offering an elegant and exclusive setting, where guests can marvel in the art of masonry, one of the traditional Balinese architectural techniques, and also enjoy the steak and grill menu. Last but not least is Deli & Bakery the open-air outlet that offers selections of coffee, tea and homemade treats. In addition to the four outlets, Andaz Bali also offers another dining and drinking destination named Fisherman’s Club. Combining Jimbaran-style seafood market and the trendy sophistication beach club, Fisherman’s Club offers a wide selection of fresh seafood, sourced from the local fishermen. Guests will be welcomed by a buffet entrance filled with fresh seafood, ready to be selected and grilled traditional-style on coconut husk.
