Vancouver Island’s celebrated luxury outpost Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge skirts the banks of its namesake ocean inlet, Clayoquot Sound and offers an escape to the still, tranquil beauty of Canada’s remote wilderness. Set among magnificent conifer forests, the lodge offers guests an unforgettable experience of the landscape and its wildlife. Adventure-filled days are bolstered by local produce-driven, sustainable dining, fine wines and the chance to unwind in generously appointed campaign-style guest tents. Contemporary interiors complement period and local artisan-designed pieces to offer a decadent retreat. A stay at Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge is generously all-inclusive of breakfast, lunch and dinner with inspired menus featuring local produce, open bar with premium wines and spirits (a cellarmasters list is available at an additional cost), signature experiences and a 60-minute therapeutic massage per Adult/Youth. Fashioned after turn-of-the-century great camps, 25 guest tents are arranged along the water’s edge, in the rainforest, or on the hillside overlooking the estuary. Old meets new in contemporary interiors styled with stylishly dressed king beds, queen day beds, antique furnishings contrasted with modern design touches and cosy cast-iron stoves. Ensuite tents feature an adjoining bathroom with a private outdoor cedar shower, whilst Deluxe tents offer a private bathroom just steps outside the tent. The Hillside Family tent comprises two-bedrooms each with ensuite bathroom - one with a deep bathtub ideal for a post-hike soak. Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge offers packages based on a three night stay arriving Thursday and departing Sunday, a four night stay arriving Sunday and departing Thursday, or seven and ten-night stays arriving either Thursday or Sunday.
