Mateya Safari Lodge, located in the spectacular 75,000 hectare Madikwe Game Reserve, promises to be among the most prestigious game lodges of its kind and certainly one of the most exclusive in Southern Africa. The reserve is home to the super 7 (lion, buffalo, cheetah, elephant, leopard, black and white rhino and wild dog), plains game and over 350 species of birds. Accompanied by experienced rangers and trackers, guests can venture on game drives in custom-built 4X4 vehicles, or track on guided walking safaris through the reserve. Each adventure will be planned around guests’ specific interests, with a maximum of four guests per vehicle. This ensures the fulfillment of their ideal safari experience. The lodge accommodates 10 guests in 5 individually designed air-conditioned luxury suites, beautifully blended with their natural surroundings. Each suite offers en-suite bathrooms with an open-air shower and a private pool deck.
