ITINERARY

Day 4 - Martha’s Vineyard
This morning you will ferry to the resort island of Martha’s Vineyard, a playground for many rich and famous. Visit the village of Edgartown with its gingerbread cottages and see the astounding cliffs at Gay Head. As thesun sets this evening, get prepared for a delicious lobster dinner - a New England tradition and the perfect close to  this unforgettable day.  Meals: B, D

Day 5 - Ride the Cape Cod Central Railroad
Feel the rhythm of the train as you are whisked away on an exhilarating rail journey aboard the Cape Cod Central Railroad. Pass beautiful cranberry bogs, natural woodlands, lush marches and beautiful sand dunes. Later, enjoy some free time in Hyannis. Stroll down Main Street and visit the many stores and shops which line the street or pay a visit to the JFK Hyannis Museum. Meals: B, D

Day 6 - Plymouth Rock and Boston City Tour
This morning, make a brief stop at historic Plymouth Rock before continuing to Boston. Here, a sightseeing tour of the birthplace of freedom shows you Boston’s Freedom Trail, the Old North Church, Bunker Hill and Boston Common. Enjoy free time for lunch at Faneuil Hall before continuing to Maine and a photo stop  at picturesque Nubble Lighthouse Meal: B, D

Day 7 - Kennebunkport, Portland Head Light and Casco Bay
Begin the day at Kennebunkport, one of Maine’s coastal jewels, adorned with stately homes of America’s rich and famous. Continue up the coast to the Portland Head Light, the oldest lighthouse in Maine. Take to the water on Inner Casco Bay aboard Portland’s iconic ferry service. Later, continue into the massive peaks of the White Mountain range. Meal: B, D

Day 8 - Conway Scenic Railroad and North Conway
Board the restored historic railcars of the Conway Scenic Railroad today for a journey through the White Mountains. You’ll enjoy the scenery of the Mt. Washington Valley countryside and relive a part of railroad history as you travel through the fields and woodlands. Spend some free time in North Conway with its quaint downtown and outlet shopping. Meals: B, D

Day 9 - New Hampshire, Vermont and Lake George
Enjoy the autumn foliage as you pass through the New England states on New Hampshire and Vermont today. See the White Mountains and the quaint villages where the steeples of white clapboard churches rise above the colorful trees. In Lake George, enjoy a narrated dinner cruise on the Lake before arriving at your hotel. Meals: B, D
