About the Port
Fakarava is a slender coral atoll in French Polynesia's Tuamotu Archipelago, encircling a vast lagoon recognized by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve for its exceptional marine diversity. Two natural passes cut through the reef, drawing currents rich with grey reef sharks, cauliflower coral formations, and dense schools of tropical fish that make the surrounding waters a magnet for divers and snorkelers.
