About the Port
Scoresby Sund stretches roughly 350 kilometers into eastern Greenland, its waters reaching depths of some 600 meters and its name attached to the largest and deepest fjord system on the planet. Steep, mountainous shorelines rise above channels threaded with icebergs calved from glaciers feeding off Greenland's Inland Ice, creating a landscape of dramatic scale and near-total silence.
