Day 1 - Vancouver Arrival
Arrive in Vancouver and transfer independently from the airport to your hotel. Drop off your luggage and get checked in, then spend the day exploring this coastal city. Must-see attractions include Stanley Park, the Vancouver Aquarium, English Bay Beach, Granville Island, Chinatown, the UBC Museum of Anthropology and the Robson Street shopping district. Included is admission to the Vancouver Lookout, offering panoramic views of the city. Day 2 - Vancouver/VIA Rail to Jasper
Spend the morning and early afternoon taking in the best Vancouver has to offer. Later today, transfer to Vancouver’s Pacific Central Station to board VIA Rail’s Canadian for an overnight journey to Jasper. Day 3 - Jasper Arrival
Wake this morning in the Canadian Rockies as the train makes its way towards Jasper. Transfer to your hotel and then spend the rest of the day getting acquainted with this famed resort town. Day 4 - Jasper to Banff

Day 5 - Banff Sightseeing
Explore Banff today on an included tour. Take a ride on a gondola to the peak of Sulphur Mountain for a 360-degree view of the Banff Townsite and the Bow Valley. Visit Bow Falls before ascending Tunnel Mountain Drive to view Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos, overlooking the Bow River. Return to the heart of town and spend the remainder of the day taking advantage of the assortment of outdoor activities Banff offers. Overnight Banff.
Day 6 - Banff to Lake Louise
Today you will set out through the rugged landscape to the crowning jewel of the Canadian Rockies, Lake Louise. This lake is known for its picturesque surroundings and, of course, the famous hotel that sits upon its banks. Upon arrival, you will have time to explore the offerings of the emerald green lake. There are wildlife tours, hiking trails, horseback rides, kayaks and canoes for rental and more. Photographers love this location for its colorful backdrop and array of subject matter. Day 7 - Lake Louise to Jasper
This afternoon you will be transferred from Lake Louise back to Jasper. The ride through the mountains is incredible, with wildlife, breathtaking views and unobstructed skies around each turn. When your shuttle arrives in Jasper, you will have the evening to do as you please. Overnight Jasper.
Day 8 – Exploring Jasper
Your last day in the Rockies is free to explore Jasper at your leisure. Take some time to stroll the quaint mountain town and its many shops and restaurants, take a wildlife tour, or venture out onto the Summit Trail at the peak of the Jasper SkyTram for unprecedented views of six mountain ranges and the Athabasca River. Day 9 - VIA Rail Jasper to Winnipeg
Spend the morning enjoying the fresh mountain air or soaking in the local hot springs. Transfer to Jasper’s train station, and begin your easterly journey to Winnipeg. This train route will take you through the magnificent forests, past serene lakes and out of the mountains into the vast lands of Alberta. You can take in all the changing sights from your private cabin, from one of the sightseeing lounges aboard the train or from one of the observation decks. Overnight train. (D)
Day 10 - Arrive Winnipeg
Your great adventure continues today as the train journeys towards Winnipeg, passing through the rest of Saskatchewan and into Manitoba. In addition to larger cities and beautiful rural towns, you will also see landmark destinations, such as Melville, named after Charles Melville Hays, President of the Grand Trunk Pacific Railroad Company who died in the sinking of the Titanic in 1912. After the train pulls into Winnipeg’s train station, you will transfer to your hotel independently. Overnight Winnipeg.
