How do I book a Victory cruise?

 

Call your travel agent or Victory Cruise Lines at (833) 929-0605. It is recommended that you make reservations as far in advance as possible to ensure the availability of the cruise and your stateroom choice.

What’s included in Victory Cruise Lines fares?

 

Victory Cruise Lines’ per-person fare includes passage, all food and service throughout the cruise. Also featured are special pre-dinner cocktail parties every evening. Enjoy soft drinks and our house wine, beer and non-premium spirits free of charge during your entire cruise. All cruises include a complimentary featured shore excursion program in every port and intriguing lectures on board. Fares do not include port charges or gratuities on board or for any shore excursion personnel, such as tour guides or bus drivers.

How many passengers are on Victory cruises?

 

The Victory I and Victory II carry only up to 202 passengers, which creates a welcoming, intimate environment.

What is the recommended gratuity on Victory cruises?

 

Recommended gratuities on the ship are $16.50 per day per person. Gratuities are automatically added to your personal onboard portfolio. Any changes you wish to make to the gratuities for your service can be easily made without question at the hotel desk. Recommended gratuities for shore excursions are $5 per person per tour guide and $2 per person per bus driver.

What is the dress code on Victory Cruise Lines?

 

Resort-casual attire is recommended both on the ships and ashore. For dinner, men’s clothing might include a sport shirt and slacks. Jackets for men are optional, not required. Women may wear a blouse or sweater and slacks, skirts and dresses. No shorts are permitted in the dining room for dinner. Victory Cruise Lines also recommends that you bring comfortable walking shoes, a hat, light rainwear, an umbrella and a jacket or sweater for cool temperatures.

Can I take a cruise solo?

 

Victory Cruise Lines welcomes solo travelers, and features a select number of single-occupancy staterooms available on its ships. One person occupying a double stateroom will be charged 200% of the double-occupancy rate depending on each category.

Is there an elevator onboard?

 

● Yes, the Victory I and Victory II each have a passenger elevator, accessible to Decks 1 through 4 and service to all stateroom decks.

Does Victory Cruise Lines accommodate special diet requests and restrictions?

 

Victory Cruise Lines will work to cater to any dietary needs. Please tell your cruise specialist approximately two weeks prior to your cruise so that we may plan accordingly.

Is there cell service onboard?

 

● Cell phones may be utilized on board, but service is not always available, and can be spotty depending on weather and location. This may vary depending on your service provider. Cell service is more reliable when we are in port, which is often on the Great Lakes, and when close to shore.

Is there Wi-Fi onboard?

 

Complimentary basic internet access via Wi-Fi is available on all voyages.

Is smoking allowed on board?

 

Smoking is permitted only in designated outside areas. Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere inside the ship and in all passenger cabins.

How many passengers does the ship accommodate?

 

M/V Victory I carries only up to 202 passengers which creates a welcoming, intimate environment.

Can we reserve a table at the restaurant?

 

We have open seating in the main dining room to ensure that you have the opportunity to meet your fellow travelers. Reservations are recommended. As with all food service on board, there is no charge for your choice of dining experiences.

What time is embarkation?

 

Embarkation varies by port of departure. Check your specific itinerary for embarkation and departure times. If you wish to arrive earlier, you may check your luggage on board, and then explore the embarkation port city.

What time is disembarkation?

 

Disembarkation time is approximately 8:00 am.

Is there television on board?

 

Yes, each stateroom features a flat-screen television, however, please note that television reception is via satellite, therefore depending on location, reception may be temporarily restricted or unclear.

What type of electrical outlets are used on Victory Cruise Lines?

 

Victory cruise ships have standard U.S. outlets, and all current on board is 110v. No adapters are needed.

Does Victory provide audio tour guides?

 

Victory Cruise Lines provides a complimentary audio headset system that allows guests to comfortably listen to their tour guide while taking photos or admiring their ports of call. The units easily recharge in your cabins with provided chargers.

Is there laundry service on board?

 

Laundry services are available on Victory cruises for a nominal fee. Price lists are available in your stateroom. Please note that clothes cannot be dry cleaned on board.

Are there medical facilities on board?

 

Yes. There is doctor and an infirmary for your visit to our medical professional when needed.

Is there a beauty salon on board?

 

Victory Cruise Lines offers various beauty and hair treatments and massages on board. Please inquire at the Purser’s Desk for a list of services and to schedule an appointment.

Is there a gift shop on board?

 

We have gifts and Victory Cruise Lines logo items available for sale on board.

What should I pack for my cruise?

 

Victory Cruise Lines recommends that you pack comfortable resort attire and the following:

  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses
  • Insect repellent
  • A hat
  • Light rainwear and an umbrella
  • A jacket for cool temperatures
  • A camera
  • Photo identification
  • A reusable water bottle to carry during excursions
  • Personal medications

How much luggage can I bring?

 

Victory Cruise Lines places no restrictions on luggage. However, it is recommended that you bring as few bags as necessary. Suitcases less than 10 inches high may be stored under your bed.

Which airport should I fly into for a Victory cruise?

 

All Victory Cruise Lines departure ports are located near major airports. Please reference your pre-cruise booklet for a list of airports recommended for travel to your particular cruise departure point.

Does Victory Cruise Lines provide transportation?

 

We do not offer transportation services to and from the ships and airport.
