ITINERARY

Day: 1
Meet in Auxonne and transfer to Amaryllis for a welcome reception, followed by a gourmet dinner prepared by your private chef.

Day: 2
Spend the morning relaxing along the French countryside. After lunch, take a drive down the Route des Grands Crus, passing through the famed villages of the Côte d’Or and the historic Clos de Vougeot. Tour a local winery, pausing for a private tasting.

Day: 3
Dijon on market day to explore the panorama of colorful produce and famous Maille mustard shop. Rejoin the barge in Seurre and relax for the rest of the day as you glide downstream to the market town of Chalon-sur-Saône.

Day: 4
Explore Beaune, where cobbled streets lead to the famed Hôtel-Dieu, a former charitable hospital renowned for its patterned tiled roof. Continue to the historic Joseph Drouhin cellar, once used by the King of France and the Duke of Burgundy to store their most prized wines.

Day: 5
Following a relaxing morning cruise, arrive in Montemerle and tour the 17th century Château de Fléchères, celebrated for its restored frescos and trompe l’oeil art by Tuscan artist Pietro Ricchi.

Day: 6
Arrive in Lyon with time to explore France’s third-largest city, known for its dynamic culture, bold gastronomy and lively shopping scene. Discover the hilltop Basilica of Notre-Dame, hidden traboules, Roman ruins and iconic murals on a guided walking tour before enjoying free time to stroll or shop at your own pace. Return to Amaryllis for a celebratory farewell feast.

Day: 7
After breakfast, transfer to the airport, where your journey ends.
