Anjodi

Meet in Narbonne and transfer to Anjodi, moored in Le Somail. After a welcome reception and crew introductions, settle into your spacious cabins before a gourmet dinner on board.

Visit the fascinating walled city of Carcassonne, the most complete medieval fortified city still in existence. The old town, called "La Cité,” looks much as it did in the Middle Ages. It is surrounded by a double circuit of walls and towers, and there is time to stroll the winding cobblestoned streets.

Explore Narbonne and stroll through a lively indoor market. This afternoon, cruise to the historic village of Capestang, with time to discover this quaint village.

Set out on a truffle hunt and enjoy a tasting of olive oils followed by a gourmet lunch. Back on board, explore the world's oldest canal tunnel at Malpas as you cruise to Béziers.

Today, Anjodi passes through the staircase of locks at Fonserannes, built by Pierre-Paul Riquet in the 17th century. Then visit Pézanas, home to the playwright Molière.

Cruise to Portiragnes by way of the Bagnas Nature Reserve, a string of lagoons in the Cap d'Agde that are home to flamingoes and other water birds. Then, enjoy a tour and tasting at Noilly Prat vermouth distillery. In the late afternoon, cruise to the village of Marseillan for a special farewell dinner on board the barge.

After breakfast, transfer to Narbonne, where your program ends.
