Day: 3
Head to Denpasar, Bali's lively capital. Here, discover the lotus throne of Jagatnatha Temple and the fortifications of Jro Kuta Palace. Later, board your luxury expedition cruiser.
Day: 4
Cruise to Indonesia's Lesser Sunda Islands, coming ashore at Satonda, a secluded island paradise formed from the caldera of an ancient volcano. Here, swim or snorkel the peaceful crater lake and learn its moving Indigenous origin story, a tragic tale involving the tears of a forlorn king.
Day: 5
Renowned for its namesake dragons, Komodo National Park beguiles visitors with its striking pink sands, sweeping coastal terrain and dazzling marine life. Once ashore, track the seldom-encountered Komodo dragon with your naturalist guide. Then, enjoy an opportunity to snorkel or dive the biodiverse reefs offshore.

Cruise amid the white sand beaches and clear bays of the Alor archipelago, coming ashore on the island of Alor to visit the Indigenous Takpala peoples' local village, museum and market. Alternatively, don your scuba gear for a remarkable diving adventure in the pristine waters of the Alor archipelago.

Enjoy a relaxing day of onboard programming, including lectures from your Expedition Team.
Day: 8
Sail to the spice islands of Maluku's Banda archipelago, the only source of nutmeg and mace in colonial times. Come ashore on Banda Island to explore its eclectic architecture, or snorkel or dive the spectacular reefs offshore.
Day: 9
Continue to the southeastern Maluku Islands and the the Kai archipelago, heading ashore to relax on pristine white-sand beaches, or swim or snorkel its azure waters.
Day: 10
Cruise to West Papua, Indonesia's easternmost enclave. West Papua comprises roughly half the landmass of New Guinea Island and harbors an astounding wealth of biodiversity both onshore and off. Embark on a Zodiac excursion to the Mommon Peninsula and Kiti-Kiti Waterfall, its breathtaking falls cascading from a tropical rainforest into the open sea below. Later, cruise to the remote island of Karas for an afternoon of swimming or diving.
Day: 11
Continue east to Triton Bay, a world-renowned dive site harboring the planet's greatest biodiversity of fish and coral species. Here, dive into an aquatic paradise of pygmy seahorses, marlin, sweetlips and soft corals. Additionally, embark on a Zodiac excursion of the bay's magnificent rainforest-capped karst formations.
Day: 12
Arrive in Agats, the capital of South Papua's Asmat Regency. This culturally diverse region harbors some 44 Indigenous tribes that remain largely isolated from the modern world. Here, experience a traditional war canoe greeting and browse the crafts of local artisans.

Unwind aboard at the pool or spa, pausing for enriching lectures about the Great Barrier Reef.

Today, you might follow in Captain James Cook's footsteps as you land on the Australian soil of Thursday Island, a former pearl-diving boomtown and an enduring enclave of Indigenous culture.
Day: 15
Enjoy a relaxing day cruising the Coral Sea. Conditions permitting, pause to snorkel or dive a magnificent reef.
Day: 16
A jewel of the Great Barrier Reef, Lizard Island dazzles with rugged mountains, glistening beaches and vibrant marine life. Here, relax on a secluded beach, swim in the lagoon, join a nature walk, or snorkel or dive the reef.

Disembark in Cairns, where you are transferred to the airport for your homebound departure or continue on to join the post-tour extension.
