ITINERARY

Day: 1
Meet in La Voulte-sur-Rhône and transfer to Napoléon for a welcome reception, followed by a gourmet dinner prepared by your onboard chef.

Day: 2
Following a peaceful morning cruise through Rhône Valley, head to Viviers. Go on an afternoon walk around charming medieval town, returning to the barge for a traditional game of pétanque.

Day: 3
Take a scenic drive to Grignan, a hilltop village known for its wild roses and impressive 12th-century château. Stroll the cobbled lanes before enjoying lunch ashore at a local restaurant. On the return, stop at a truffle farm to sample this prized Provençal delicacy, then rejoin the barge and cruise on to Roquemaure.

Day: 4
Cruise past the striking arches of the Roman aqueduct, Pont du Gard. Later, arrive in Châteauneuf-du-Pape for a private tasting of its celebrated wines.

Day: 5
Spend the morning in Avignon with a visit to the Palais des Papes, a 14th-century marvel and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cruise south to Vallabrègues, then set out to Les Baux-de-Provence, pausing to take in sweeping views of olive groves and the jagged Alpilles mountains.

Day: 6
Begin the day in Arles, where Van Gogh lived from 1888 to 1889. After a lunchtime cruise back to Avignon, visit nearby Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, where the artist created some of his most iconic works while residing in a local asylum. Return to Napoléon for a farewell gala dinner, marking the end of your journey.

Day: 7
After breakfast, transfer to the airport, where your journey ends.
