Day: 1
Meet in Paris and transfer to Rendez-Vous, moored in the village of Fleurey-sur-Ouche. After a welcome reception and crew introductions, there is time to unpack — or stroll the towpath as the sun sets — before a gourmet dinner on board.
Day: 2
Visit Ch teau du Clos de Vougeot where Cistercian monks made wine in the 12th century. Explore the preserved presses on which iconic Burgundian vintages were made. Return to Rendez-Vous for lunch and a leisurely afternoon cruise.
Day: 3
Relax on a morning cruise through pastoral countryside. This afternoon, disembark to Dijon for a walking tour that includes the lively market with its incredible selection of meats, candies, cheeses, fruits, vegetables and pastries, as you stroll your way through this small city brimming with authentic Burgundian life.
Day: 4
Following a leisurely morning cruise, your afternoon walking tour of Ch teauneuf-en-Auxois reveals the architectural details and time-worn relics of its hilltop castle. Dinner is ashore this evening at the renowned Ch teau du Sainte Sabine.
Day: 5
Laze on deck this morning to admire the passing scenery or join your Chef in the open kitchen for an informal cooking demonstration. After lunch, drive through the Côte d'Or to the charming town of Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy, for a tour of Hôtel-Dieu, a immaculately-preserved 15th-century charity hospital.
Day: 6
Relax on board during the cruise to Escommes. Then visit Ch teau de Chassagne-Montrachet for a tour of the cellars and tasting of its world-famous wines. Return to Rendez-Vous for canapés and cocktails, followed by a gala Captain's Dinner to finish your cruise in style.
Day: 7
After breakfast, disembark in Escommes, and then transfer back to Paris, arriving in the late morning.
