Day 1
A full day tour of Kuala Lumpur includes the King's Palace, the Parliament House and the National Museum.
Day 2
Fly to Penang to enjoy the balance of the day at leisure.
Day 3
A morning walking tour of Georgetown includes Fort Cornwallis and Little India.
Day 4
Fly to Sandakan and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Sepilok Forest Reserve and the Orangutan Rehabilitation Center. Witness the feeding of orphaned orangutans and take a walk through the tropical lowland rainforest, lush with flora and fauna.
Day 5
Journey by boat along a tidal river to Sukau through Mangrove Forest with stops to see the unique plants and wildlife of Borneo.
Day 6
Fly to Kota Kinabalu and transfer to your resort. The balance of the day is free to swim or snorkel in some of the most beautiful tropical waters on earth.
Day 7
Explore Mount Kinabalu National Park, Malaysia's first World Heritage Site and designated by UNESCO in 2000 as one of the most important biological sites in the world. Return to Kota Kinabalu, stopping at a regional market along the way.
Day 8
Fly to Kuching and transfer to your hotel.
Day 9
Explore Kuching on a guided tour: see the view from the Civic Centre Tower, historical Fort Margherita and the Sarawak Museum. After lunch, learn about the wide array of local cultures and lifestyles in the Sarawak Cultural Village, a unique awardwinning living museum.
Day 10
Travel overland and by boat to the up-country forests in Batang.
Day 11
In the morning, enjoy the amenities of your resort before returning to Kuching, where you connect to your homebound flight.
