ITINERARYDay 1: Hanoi, Vietnam/Lao Cai
Arrive in Lao Cai early in the morning. Drive along winding roads, stopping at the Coc Ly Market before boarding a private boat on the Chay River. Along the way, enjoy fabulous mountain scenery and a trek through terraced rice fields to the remote village of Trung Do.

Day 2: Lao Cai/Sapa
Delight in a trek along buffalo paths and trails through
spectacular scenery, visiting several hill tribe villages, home
to Black H'mong and Dzay people along the way. Once on
the valley floor you can truly appreciate the landscape that
surrounds you. The walls of the valley are covered with multilayered
rice terraced fields and scattered villages. Return to Lao
Cai to take the night train.

Day 3: Sapa/Lao Cai
Arrive in Hanoi early this morning and transfer to the Sofitel Metropole Hanoi. This afternoon, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
