Day 1. Arrive Cape Town, South Africa Welcome to Cape Town, South Africa. You will be transferred to the five-star Table Bay Hotel, nestled on Quay Six in the heart of the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Day 2. Cape Town Meaningful Moment: Be swept away on a full day guided tour of the stunning “seascapes of “The Fairest Cape”. The day begins with a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain. Continue along the rugged Cape Peninsula, passing the beautiful beaches of Camps Bay. Day 3. Cape Town Embraced by the Atlantic Ocean and flanked by imperial mountains, Cape Town hosts a dazzling display of bright lights and architecture reflecting both the beauty of the past and modern innovation. Day 4. Cape Town Enjoy another day at leisure. It won't be long before you discover why Cape Town is frequently listed as a top destination by travel magazines and adventure travel bloggers. Blessed with one of the most stunningly beautiful settings of any city in the world, Cape Town and its surrounding areas offer enough activities to keep you occupied for a long time. In the evening, take a walk down to the waterfront and experience the vibrant flavors of South Africa at Karibu Restaurant. Day 5. Cape Town / Hoedspruit / Kapama Private Game Reserve After a delicious breakfast, bid adieu to Cape Town - you’re off to the Kapama Private Game Reserve! The reserve offers panoramic views of the nearby Drakensberg Mountain range and the area supports a wide variety of wildlife including elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros, and a large population of giraffe, impala, blue wildebeest and kudu. Day 6. Kapama Private Game Reserve Twice-daily game drives throughout the reserve, accompanied by expert guides and trackers, provide plenty of opportunities to witness the plethora of local wildlife. See for yourself why Kapama Private Game Reserve is affectionately known as the “African Eden” – this slice of wilderness paradise is secluded from crowds and home to the Big Five as well as more than 40 other mammal species and 350 different types of birds. Day 7. Kapama Private Game Reserve Venture on early morning and afternoon game drives in an attempt to experience as much of this reserve as possible. Kapama is the largest owner-managed private game reserve in the area, encompassing 13,000 hectares of sweeping wilderness. The reserve is also one of Africa’s premier ecotourism destinations. Day 8. Kapama Private Game Reserve / Johannesburg Take one last early morning game drive before embarking on a flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the DaVinci Hotel and Suites – a contemporary masterpiece set in the “City of Gold.” Located adjacent to Nelson Mandela Square, one of the country’s largest open public spaces, the Da Vinci Hotel and Suites offers opulent first-class facilities in a stylish and elegant setting. Day 9. Johannesburg / Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel before flying to Victoria Falls. The Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, perched high on the natural boundary to Zambezi National Park, serves as your exquisite home base during your stay at this World Heritage Site. The legendary lodge has been voted the “Best Safari Lodge” in Zimbabwe for 18 consecutive years and offers uninterrupted views from your private deck. Meaningful Moment: Tonight, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River and watch the sun bid adieu in a heart-wrenching display of color as various reflections dance upon the water. Return to your hotel for dinner at the award-winning Makuwa-Kuwa restaurant; ask for a table by the window to catch enviable views of the waterhole. Day 10. Victoria Falls After breakfast, prepare for a radically different waterfront experience with a guided tour of Victoria Falls. This mile-long curtain of falling water is celebrated as one of the seven natural wonders of the world, and its extraordinary grandeur captivates visitors from around the globe. Take a walk through the magnificent rain forest and witness the Cataracts, Livingstone’s statue, and an endless variety of birds and plants. Meaningful Moment: – Later, indulge in the tantalizing aromas, tastes, and sounds of The Boma during a traditional African feast accompanied by traditional singers, dancers, fortune-tellers and storytellers. Day 11. Victoria Falls / Depart After a delicious farewell breakfast, you are transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight back to Johannesburg. You may be leaving Africa behind, but you'll return home with fantastic photos and memories that will live on in your heart forever. (B) 11
