FAQs
Split: Who is Festigo Travel? Festigo Travel is our official partner for this trip. They're fully accredited and will make sure your festival travel is safe, smooth, and stress-free. We’ve teamed up with them to hook you up with Ultra Music Festival tickets on this trip!
Split: Can I share a room with my partner on this trip? Yes, mostly. If you’ve booked together with a partner or a friend on a twin-share trip, you’ll be roomed together. If travelling alone, you’ll stay in a twin-share room with other travellers of the same sex. Please be aware that there are different options and prices when booking the Croatia Island Sail trip, On Deck and Below Deck, and you can only be roomed together if you have paid for and selected the same option at time of booking. If you’re travelling with your friends and have made separate bookings, don’t forget to tell our 24/7 support team that you’re travelling together. The Trip Manager will always try their best to put you in the same room. But please note, this can’t always be guaranteed.
Split: Will I be assigned the same boat as my friends? Croatia’s peak season means we’ve got lots of boats sailing the same day. If you and your friends have made separate bookings - just give our 24/7 support team a shout to link your bookings and we'll make sure to keep the crew together on the same boat. But please note, this can't always be guaranteed.
Split: What’s the difference between the rooms on the boats? Standard boats will have sun-decks so you can soak up the sunlight. Premium boats (the Plus version of our trip has Premium boats) have larger sundecks with a mid-weekly linen service.
Split: Do the rooms on the boat have air conditioning? Yep, all bedrooms on the boats have air conditioning. They’re small and fit perfectly into the cabins (and work great for a quick cool down).
Split: Do all rooms on the boats have shared toilets? All rooms are fitted with an ensuite. The premium boats tend to have bigger bathrooms.
Split: At what time will we be docking back into the last city? If the weather gods are on our side (which they usually are), we should be docking back up in Split at 3PM.

Included Experience
Split: We’ll feed you while you sail around Croatia. So you can just focus on getting the perfect sunset selfie.

Korčula: This 13th Century walled city is framed by terracotta-topped buildings, rugged mountain scenescapes and turquoise waters.
Split: Check out one of the best-preserved Roman buildings in the world. So beautiful, you’ll want to move in!
Split: We've worked with Festigo Travel to hook you up with the 3-day pass to the Ultra Music Festival AKA Croatia’s ultimate summer party - world-class DJs, massive light shows, and an international crowd dancing by the Adriatic. By day it’s beaches and island vibes. And by night? Fireworks, lasers, and beats ‘til sunrise.

ITINERARY

Split to Hvar
Ready to kickstart your Croatia sail trip? This morning we'll meet in Split, boarding our boat with, you guessed it, boat loads of enthusiasm. After our first stint at sea we’ll arrive in the glamorous playground of Hvar, where big shiny boats meet grand historic architecture. Once you've taken in the sites, you will dine alfresco on board, it’s a tough day in paradise.

Hvar to Korčula
Korčula may sit incredibly close to the mainland of Croatia but it's an island all of its own, which means we'll be slipping into island vibes accordingly. Hidden bars, peachy sunsets & cobbled streets by the beach, our appreciation for this country will be skyrocketing.

Korčula to Dubrovnik
This morning we'll wake up in beautiful Korčula but we'll then be heading off to Dubrovnik. In the words of Bernard Shaw, acclaimed socialist & playwright, "those that seek paradise on earth should seek it in Dubrovnik." You heard the man - let's do this! Welcome to Paradise. Home to rugged cliffs, lashing seas, historic buildings (and a tonne of Game of Thrones references.) Today you'll have the chance to explore Dubrovnik on foot with a local guide. Tonight, head for the nightlife of the Urban District. Partying not your thing? No biggie. There are plenty of local restaurants, bars and cafes for you to check out too!

Dubrovnik
The city of Dubrovnik is so much more than just a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a Game of Thrones location - not that either of those claims to fame are even mildly mediocre. Visit Dubrovnik's Old Town, The Minceta Tower and Fortress Lovrijenac - otherwise known as GoT's King's Landing, entrance to the House of the Undying and The Red Keep. Or grab a kayak and view the magnificent city walls from the turquoise sea.

Dubrovnik to Trstenik
You think we're done sailing around Croatia? Not a chance. This morning we'll sail past the palms, cypresses, olive trees, citrus plantations and colourful reefs of the Elaphite Islands. As the sun sets, we'll dock at the unspoiled village of Trstenik. Here we'll have the chance to support and visit a family-owned winery and of course, sample some wine too. Then it's back to the boat for an optional Captain's dinner and a night of ship shenanigans.

Trstenik to Makarska
After the peace and tranquillity of Trstenik, it’s time to head back to the mainland for more action. After a spot of swimming we’ll arrive in Makarska where we’ll be blessed by the beautiful Biokovo mountains and a long stretch of beach ready to be enjoyed. Wanna dive deeper into this town's olive oil legacy? Then join us on an olive farm visit where you'll get to sample some of its finest!

Makarska to Split
This morning, we'll sail back to our starting point of Split. Fresh off our Adriatic adventures, it’s time to dive into Split’s Roman roots and wander through its oh-so-atmospheric streets (yes, more Game of Thrones moments incoming). Rest up though - tomorrow kicks off your 3-day Ultra Music Festival pass, and trust us, you’ll need the energy.

Split
We’ll wave goodbye to the boat in the morning and squeeze in some extra Split time before checking into our hotel base. The afternoon’s yours to wander the old town, grab a gelato, or laze by the sea. Then it’s back to the festival for another night of lasers, beats, and pure ULTRA energy.

Split
Sleep in, recharge, and make the most of a free day in Split. Then, as night falls, we dive straight back into the ULTRA madness for another round of world-class beats and fireworks.

Split
As the last beats fade at 5am, we say goodbye to ULTRA on a high. Breakfast is waiting, Croatia’s beauty delivered - and the lifelong crew you’ve made? That’s the real highlight.
