Join Cunard and let it arrange and book your journey on the legendary luxury ocean liners of Cunard.” — Cunard
Cunard's story began in July 1840, when Britannia set sail from Liverpool on the company's first Transatlantic Crossing — the start of a lineage that has now seen 249 ships sail to the four corners of the world. Today the fleet comprises four Queens named for Britain's Queens Regnant: Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, Queen Elizabeth, and the newest, Queen Anne, whose design was founded on heritage, craftsmanship, style, storytelling, and innovation.
Queen Mary 2 remains the world's only true ocean liner, offering regularly scheduled Transatlantic Crossings between New York and Southampton — she completed her 400th crossing in 2024 — and is certified to carry 3,108 guests with a crew of 1,292. Onboard life keeps tradition wonderfully alive: white-gloved Afternoon Tea served daily at 3:30 in the Queens Room, Gala Evenings with five-course celebratory menus on every voyage of three nights or more, and theater adapted from London's West End alongside live orchestras and jazz.
Fares include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Afternoon Tea, with the exclusive Grills experience — including the Queens Grill restaurant and its reserved tables — for suite guests. Itineraries range from the iconic Crossing to Norwegian fjords, Alaska's glaciers, the Caribbean, Australia, and full World Voyages with their own concierge and gala events ashore. Cunard suits travelers who love ceremony, conversation, and the romance of the sea.
