Hôtel Madame Rêve was launched in October 2021.Created by celebrated restaurateur, founder, and art director Laurent Taïeb, the independent hotel has 82 design-led rooms including19 suites located on the top floor – either overlooking an internal vertical sky garden or the dreamy Parisian cityscape. Star suites boast magnificent views over well-known sights including the Eiffel Tower, the Sacré-Coeur or Notre-Dame Cathedral. Housed in Paris’ iconic Louvre post office building in the heart of the city’s vibrant creative hub, Madame Rêve is set to attract a trendy crowd with designer boutiques, world class museums, and the chicest, new restaurants on its doorstep. Located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, the heritage building is one of the most recognizable in the city and a familiar address to Parisians for over a century – bordered by streets lined with cafés and galleries such as the Pinault Collection and within walking distance to the picturesque Tuileries Gardens and legendary Louvre Museum. In the ground floor lobby, guests are transported to another era as the hotel’s 19th century architecture and characterful design embraces its Parisian roots through thoughtful woodwork, oak flooring, velvet curtains and golden-brown hues throughout – reminiscent of the elegant brasseries of the Riviera. Afterall, "life must be golden," according to Laurent Taïeb’s friend and interior designer Andrée Putman, who inspired the hotel’s colour scheme. As visitors move higher up the hotel, they are taken on a modern voyage through sprawling indoor gardens and wooden surroundings – a mix of vintage and contemporary styles. Guests are invited to feast on the cuisine of two continents with the choice of two destination restaurants, overseen by Chef Benjamin Six. Mediterranean-style fare is available all day in the 19th century café brasserie on ground level with an open-air terrace – ideal for alfresco dining. An elevator ride three storeys up will take guests on a more contemporary visual journey as they enter a high-tech, 21st-century restaurant-bar serving Japanese-influenced cuisine. A spectacular 1000 sqm² fourth floor roof terrace and blossoming sky garden offers incredible 360° views over the City of Lights with an expansive deck to sip on the city’s best cocktails. The extraordinary rooftop structure was inspired by pioneering engineer and architect Gustave Eiffel and promises to take guests to new heights.
