Reykjavík, Iceland
Welcome to Reykjavík, the world’s northernmost capital city and the largest settlement in Iceland. You’ll be warmly welcomed on board Scenic Eclipse by your Captain, crew and Discovery Team before setting sail for the journey of a lifetime. With only up to 228 guests on board, you’re about to experience an immersive, engaging and intimate voyage through this fascinating part of the world. Isafjördur
Characterised by deep, blue fjords, separated by flat-topped mountains, Ísafjörður is the largest settlement in the Westfjords of Iceland. Explore remote Iceland from one of the most stunning towns in the country, with old timber framed houses and architecture. Bursting with a wealth of wildlife, keep your eyes peeled for birds and Arctic foxes on the cliffs, seals on the coast and whales cruising in the surrounding ocean. Kong Oscar Fjord
This magnificent fjord is part of the North-East Greenland National Park, a unique, untouched area of the world filled with beauty and grandeur. Previously one of the most difficult regions to reach, Scenic Eclipse now takes you there in 6-star luxury. Join our on board geologist to unravel the geological wonders of the region, including the striking "fold" formations etched into the cliff faces. Immerse yourself in the local culture with a visit to the charming community of Tasiilaq, nestled along the shores of King Oscar Harbour. Tonight, meet new friends in one of the exceptional all-inclusive bars and lounges or ask the butler to bring your favourite cocktail to your private verandah as you reflect on the days discoveries. Kaiser Franz Joseph Fjord
A remote and rarely visited fjord system provides many opportunities for exploration. Our team of experts will be on board as we weave through the ice, marvelling at the rugged beauty of this region. Keep an eye out for Teufelschloss, aptly named "The Devils Castle," a formidable rocky peak towering over the waters of Kejser Franz Josef Fjord. Weather permitting, well venture to the awe-inspiring Waltershausen Glacier, one of Greenlands major Piedmont glaciers, where you might witness the spectacular sight of glacier calving. This afternoon, enjoy the indulgent spaces on board Scenic Eclipse, like the temperature-controlled Vitality Pool or the Observation Lounge, with its commanding view from the bow.   Discovery: Weather permitting, join the Discovery Team on Zodiac excursions, explore by kayak or enjoy shore landings.

Scoresbysund
Scoresbysund is the largest and deepest fjord system in the world, and the birthplace of many of Greenland’s glaciers. Over the next couple of days, be amazed by the mountainous surrounds, the lively wildlife and the memorable adventures. Due to the extraordinary nature of the region, the sailing and expedition schedule is flexible. Your experienced Captain and Discovery Team leader will use their expertise to design this section of your voyage, giving you the best experience possible in this extraordinary part of the world. As we enter this magnificent fjord system, stand in awe on the Observation Terrace or your private verandah, where you can marvel at the sheer grandeur of the glacial surroundings.  Discovery: Weather permitting, join the Discovery Team on a hike across the tundra, looking for muskoxen and blue Arctic foxes blending into the basalt rock. Cruise in a Zodiac to view hauled-out walruses and seals resting along the shoreline, and keep watch for migratory minke, humpback and fin whales.

Scoresbysund
Mapped by explorer William Scoresby in 1822, the tree-like Scoresbysund fjord is a majestic natural wonder stretching over 350 kilometres along Greenlands eastern coast. Its sprawling branches of icy water offer a breathtaking panorama of towering cliffs and shimmering glaciers. Navigating through its channels reveals this remote wildernesss raw power and beauty, igniting the spirit of exploration. Join the expert Discovery Team for engaging lectures in the state-of-the-art theatre and learn more about this fascinating regions landscapes and wildlife. Discovery: Weather permitting, join the Discovery Team on a hike across the tundra, looking for muskoxen and blue Arctic foxes blending into the basalt rock. Cruise in a Zodiac to view hauled-out walruses and seals resting along the shoreline, and keep watch for migratory minke, humpback and fin whales.

Scoresbysund
Today we will exit the magnificent Scoresbysund fjord. Wake up at your own time and ask the butler to bring breakfast to your suite, so you can take in the awe-inspiring views from your private verandah. Enjoy some downtime at the expansive 550m² Senses Spa. Book an appointment# with our skillful wellness therapists and surrender yourself to bliss. Afterwards, hold on to that feeling of calm for a while longer in the Zen-like space of the Vitality Lounge. Here, ambient light envelops you with tranquil music as the heat from our soothing thermal loungers works to gently purify the body.

Grundarfjörður, Iceland
Nestled within the breathtaking landscapes of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, Grundarfjörður exudes charm with its quaint fishing village atmosphere and vibrant, colourful houses. As you wander its winding streets, youll be captivated by the picturesque scenery at every turn. Dominating the skyline is the iconic Kirkjufell, affectionately known as Church Mountain, which stands as a majestic backdrop to this idyllic coastal community. Its distinctive silhouette, often shrouded in mist or bathed in the golden glow of sunset, has made it one of the most photographed mountains in all of Iceland, adding to the allure of this enchanting village. Reykjavík > Kirkjubæjarklaustur
After leaving the vibrant capital behind, embark on a captivating exploration of Icelands enchanting south coastal region beginning with a horse show at a picturesque stable where Icelandic horses demonstrate their unique gaits. After refreshments, continue on with a visit to ancient man-made caves, believed to be Icelands oldest archaeological remains, where you will learn about the caves history, sample Icelandic whisky, local beer and delicacies. Kirkjubæjarklaustur
