Day 2
Start your private sightseeing with a visit to the Nairobi Safari Walk for an elevated adventure on raised boardwalks offering uninterrupted views of the endangered pygmy hippos, albino zebras, white rhinos, and more. Learn about the conservation efforts of the region’s diverse wildlife and habitat protection at this animal orphanage. Next, visit the Karen Blixen Museum, dedicated to the author of Out of Africa. This morning, depart for Nyeri, your base for exploring Kenya’s Laikipia region. Day 4
Start your day with a morning game drive. Beyond magnificent rhino there is an abundance of other wildlife making for great game viewing. Spot lion, reticulated giraffe, eland, leopard, cheetah, and much more. Return to your lodge for lunch prior to an afternoon at leisure
Day 5
Leave Nyeri and journey through the beautiful Kenyan highlands, one of the most fertile agricultural areas in all of Africa, where farmers grow corn, wheat, coffee, and tea. Stop at Nyahururu Falls, also known as Thompson’s Falls, and then on to Lake Nakuru National Park. After lunch at your lodge, set out on an afternoon game drive
Day 6
Today, embark on morning and afternoon game drives. The park is home to a variety of animals including giraffe, impala, Cape buffalo, flamingo, and striped hyena. Between game drives, relax or enjoy the infinity pool overlooking the lake at the lodge. Today, board a quick flight to Nairobi. Drive to Amboseli National Park, best known for spectacular views of 19,341-foot Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Morning and afternoon game drives offer a terrific opportunity to get close to the mighty African elephant, along with the chance to spot Cape buffalo, zebra, wild dog, and more. During the heat of the day, relax at your lodge
