A shining jewel of the French Riviera, the legendary resort town of Saint-Tropez is one of the most famous holiday destinations in Europe. From the soft white sand beaches lapped by turquoise water to the jetsetter beach clubs, decadent dining and luxury boutiques, glitzy Saint-Tropez is the ultimate French Riviera experience. For history buffs, learn more about the fascinating story of Saint-Tropez at the Musée dHistoire Maritime, or peruse modern art at the former chapel at Annonciade. 

Nestled along the Côte dAzur, Menton is an eye-catching township of pastel-hued mansions tumbling down the hillside towards the sparkling azure sea. Menton is best known for its exceptional lemons, nurtured by the region’s perfect climate. Local legend suggests that Eve picked a lemon when she was banished from the Garden of Eden and planted the seeds in Menton. Whether this is true or not, the Tarte au Citron (classic French lemon tart) is a must-try and every February, the famous Fete du Citron (lemon festival) is celebrated here. Be sure to visit the garden of Palais Carnolès, where you’ll discover more than 60 varieties of lemon trees.

Officially known as the Principality of Monaco, the sovereign city-state of Monaco is renowned for its opulence and glamour, boasting high-end casinos, a yacht-lined harbour, and the exclusive Monte Carlo quarter. This gem of the Côte dAzur is also home to Monaco’s royal household and numerous cultural events hosted throughout the year, celebrating anything from music and dance to theatre and the visual arts.  Monaco is most famous however for the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix, an annual Formula One motor racing event, which coincides with your visit.  Experience the buzz and excitement in town as this prestigious race plays out on the Circuit de Monaco.
